Working Group I - Supersymmetry

Convenors: Manoranjan Guchait (TIFR), Probir Roy (TIFR)

To kickstart SUSY working group(WG) activities, we list below some issues which have crossed our minds and suggest some possibilities. We would welcome your suggestions on topics/problems which would be interesting to discuss/investigate in our WG. Let us hasten to add that this is not likely to be a comprehensive list. Thus we are quite open to the consideration of other topics. A list of some speakers is included at the bottom of this page.

1. New Physics at LHC
(a) How well could one confirm/falsify specific SUSY or any other models /scenarios?
(b) SUSY inverse mapping problem.

2. Upper bounds on lightest Higgs mass in different SUSY models.

3. Specific tests of M-theory predictions or those of landscape based models and some phenomenological aspects of this theory.

4. The role of moduli stabilization in relation to Type II B String theory vis-a-vis SUSY breaking and consequent LHC phenomenology.

5. The cosmology - SUSY - collider phenomenology connection.

6. The distinction between SUSY and extra dimensions in 'new physics events' at the LHC.

7. Is there any relationship between string-inspired models and SUSY flavour phenomenology (FCNC, CP violation ...)?
