The speaker will discuss a recent preprint by M Knezevic and D Knezevic (Univ of Belgrade) titled " The Lee-Yang Edge Singularity for Ising model on two Sierpinski fractal lattices" . This preprint discusses the determination of Lee-Yang edge singularity exponent on two fractal lattices. For these recursively defined lattices, the critical behavior can be determined exactly using the renormalization group technique. While the lattices look quite similar, the edge exponent is very different. The possible reason for the discrepancy is suggested, and related to presence of sites of different coordination numbers in the graph.
