Title:	Statistical Mechanics of a Nonlinear Model for DNA Denaturation

Abstract:	In this talk I will discuss about the DNA melting transition based on the Peyrard-Bishop model. This talk is mainly based on the paper Statistical mechanics of a nonlinear model for DNA denaturation by M. Peyrard and A. R. Bishop [Phys. Rev. Lett.]. But the systematic development of this theory will also be discussed. The nature of phase transition and the incorporation of the helicoicity in this model will be analyzed.
