I study the physics of elementary particles and fundamental interactions. My principal areas of interest are the electroweak interactions, supersymmetric models and low-scale quantum gravity. Most of my research is centred around predicting experimental signatures for such theories, especially in the context of high-energy colliding-beam machines. My work, therefore, is a meeting place between theory, experiment and numerical computation.

I obtained my doctoral degree from the University of Calcutta in 1994, following which I held postdoctoral positions at TIFR and CERN before joining the IIT Kanpur in 1999. Since December 2007, I have moved to TIFR, where I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Theoretical Physics.
