Syllabus

This is a year long course designed to teach various aspects of the Standard Model of particle physics. Some of the topics, which I intend to cover (not necessaily in this order) are:

● utilitarian Group Theory

● utilitarian Quantum Field Theory

● scalars/fermions/abelian & non-abelian gauge theories

● Standard Model of particle physics

● spontaneous symmetry breaking and the vacuum structure in the Standard Model

● perturbative QCD

● QCD at long distances (HQET, chiral perturbation theory etc.)

● Electroweak process at tree and at one loop levels
